If ever they make a remake of Newsies without the music, John's ready for it. I tried to watch the original Newsies, but it was just a bit too much. I have a friend that loves Newsies. Why? I cannot say, but then again, he also loves the movie Xanadu, the film that pretty much ended Gene Kelly and Michael Beck's acting careers.
