John Opens Some Gifts

As part of the birthday celebration, John got to open a few presents. He'll open the balance on Saturday.The first gift was a Little People School Bus from Maureen and me. Maureen still has some of her original Little People play sets and people. This bus had a bus driver that Maureen thought could be a woman (even though it has a mustache), a little black boy (we call him Token), and a little girl in a rain coat (we call her Maya). Also included in the school bus was a wheel chair. We put Maya in the wheel chair and she goes in the back. It's a little annoying to see socially conscious toys like that. We're all different, but the same...Just Like You and Me.






The second gift was a Little People farm build it set from the Upshaw's in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Thanks to Uncle Rick, Aunt Kaitlin, and Cousin Shelby for the great gift. As you can see from the photo, John really likes it and can't wait to play with it.
