For quite some time, Maureen and I have heard about a park on the grounds called Dinosaur Park. We'd just never been bothered to look for it.
Yesterday, Maureen went in search of the park with John. They found it and it's pretty cool. There are these things that look like rocks, but they are actually dinosaurs. It kind of makes sense. We live so darned close to The La Brea Tar Pits, so why not. Anywho, you can climb all over the dinosaurs, but there was a party going on at the park, so Maureen didn't want to crash.
Instead, they walked to John's fountain. As you can see, it's quite a stately fountain. John loves to watch the water go up and down. Maureen claims that he said "foun-tain" as they were approaching, but I chalk it all up to her hormones at this point in her pregnancy. Either that, or she's hearing voices.
He also loves to run around in the grass. He doesn't like to fall down and play in the grass. He gets that from me. He just walks around and surveys the situation. He runs around. He actually ran around so much that Maureen is exhausted from all his running around.
On a side note, he's not a fan of wearing jeans. He feels they are too stiff and unforgiving. As soon as the jeans were on his legs, he started pulling at them like he didn't want to wear them. He likes wearing sweat pants that a big, roomy, and comfy. This is what I say. Get used to wearing pants. In school and life, you'll have to wear long pants unless you become a delivery man or high school football coach during practice.
