Our Little Soloist

For some time, our John has been gifting us with the voice of his song. On car trips, he likes to duet on the "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" or "owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" songs. I have been trying to document is great talents since early on; however, I have been unsuccessful until today. He let his guard down as he was coloring with crayons. If you look in the back, you'll see a puppy stuffed animal that Mrs. Schmidt gave to John (thank you Mrs. Schmidt).

Grandpa thinks he's going to be some sort of opera singer. I think he'll be headed to the Great White Way to star in a revival of The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, or Jesus Christ Superstar. Mom and Dad have been playing that music for John since he was a wee little tadpole in Maureen's belly.
