John is always fashion forward in thought and deed. His Godparents were kind enough to give him some sunglasses a couple of years ago. Until recently, he didn't want anything to do with his shades. As you can see, he wears them quite happily these days. I think he's just happy that he's going to school. Then again, maybe he is too resplendent and needs to wear his shade to protect himself.
