Birthday at The Grove

Someone enjoyed his day at The Grove and The Original Farmer's Market last week. I wonder who?

Talky Talkerson

It appears our boy is a bit of a yakety-yak. When he starts talking, he just does not stop. He's at the point where he's stringing syllables along like "ma" "ba" "da" "ay" and "dee". Sometimes, it sounds like he's saying "dada" and other times it sounds like he's saying "mama". It's so entertaining to hear him speak...most of the time.

This morning, he decided to start talking at 5:15 AM and he didn't stop until he fell back asleep at 6:10 AM after a bottle. We had a talk with him last night where we told him that we expected him to sleep until about 7 AM. Being a bullheaded young man, he just did not listen. What are we to do?

John and His Future Mother-In-Law

John and I spent some quality father-son time this morning while Maureen went to prepare her classroom for the school year. In between his fits of crying, we had an important talk about his future. Whilst discussing his betrothal, his future mother-in-law, Heidi Klum, came on the screen. He had a stopped his caterwauling and just chilled. I think his future with Leni will be just fine. He already likes his mother-in-law.
